EMBRYO
Embryo, founded in 1969, builds the nourishing soil for Munich's underground and subcultural scene. Wherever you go, at some point you will find this band jamming in some corner of this city. As Live Behind the Green Door is the first record release after the passing of Christian Buchard, the founder and source of Embryo, this record is a milestone for the artists, especially for his daughter Marja Burchard.
Marja Burchard and Maasl Maier belong to the core members of Embryo. Sebastian Wolfgruber joined the more than 50-year-old band in 2020 for one live session that was recorded back in May 15, 2020 at Import Export, Munich. Each track on this record is taken from the original live streaming session.
